How often should I get my eyes checked?
Once every one or two years for most adults, and every year after 40 or if you have diabetes. Children should have their first full eye check before starting school.
Will my eyes be dilated during the check-up?
Sometimes, to examine the retina properly. Your vision may be blurry for a few hours, so it is best not to drive yourself home.
Am I suitable for LASIK?
It depends on your age, glasses power and cornea. We do a detailed check first and tell you honestly whether LASIK is a good option for you.
When should cataract be operated on?
When it starts to affect your daily life, like reading, driving or watching TV. Your eye specialist will advise you after a check.
